Alicia Hullinger, Ph.D. is a cultural sociologist, futures thinker, and leadership advisor who helps leaders navigate complexity, uncertainty, and emergence.

 

Drawing on expertise in strategic foresight, sensemaking, coaching, and human development, Alicia supports individuals and organizations in interpreting what is changing, identifying signals of possibility, and taking aligned action toward preferred futures.

 

As the former Executive Director of the ICF Thought Leadership Institute, she led global futures research exploring the forces shaping the future of coaching, leadership, and human development. Today, her work sits at the intersection of futures thinking, strategic sensemaking, systems change, and human potential.

 

Alicia is particularly interested in how leaders develop the capacity to navigate transitions, hold complexity, and create conditions for more regenerative and life-affirming futures. Her work integrates insights from cultural sociology, integral theory, futures thinking, coaching, regenerative systems, and sustainability.

 

Her purpose is to live compassionately bold by partnering with individuals and organizations committed to becoming the change they wish to see in the world.
