The Mistake That Cost Me A Decision I Still Think About: Why I Built An Eclectic Leaders Council
I made a big call once, taking one advisor's input on a decision that needed more than one lens. The advice was good. What went wrong was the room, I was doing the synthesis alone, across a decision that touched people, money, timing and politics all at once. So I stopped looking for a better advisor, and built a Council instead. Many, disagreeing, before the decision hardened.
